Terms of Service
Last updated: 21 July 2026
1. Who we are
SiteOS ("we", "us") is a job-file and site-management platform for UK construction businesses, operated by [Your Company Name Ltd], a company registered in England & Wales (company no. [00000000]), registered office [Your Registered Address]. Contact: legal@siteos.uk.
2. The service
SiteOS provides tools to record site diaries, drawings, health & safety records, subcontractor compliance, variations, invoicing, CIS and related job-file data (the "Service"). By creating an account you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
3. Accounts and trials
New accounts get a 14-day free trial. After the trial ends, or if a paid subscription is cancelled or lapses, access to the Service may be restricted until a subscription is active. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account.
4. Fees and billing
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis via our payment processor, Stripe. Prices are shown in GBP and may include VAT where applicable. You can cancel at any time from the Billing page — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. We don't provide refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law.
5. Your data
You own the content you upload to SiteOS (diary entries, photos, documents, financial records and similar). You grant us a licence to host, process and display that content solely to provide the Service to you. We don't sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for how personal data is handled.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to store unlawful content, attempt to breach the security of the platform, or resell access without our written agreement. We may suspend accounts that breach these Terms or put other customers' data at risk.
7. Availability and support
We aim for high availability but the Service is provided "as is" without guarantee of uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance will be kept to a minimum. Support requests can be sent to support@siteos.uk.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud, or anything else that can't lawfully be limited.
9. Termination and data export
You can close your account at any time from Settings. On closure we retain your data for a reasonable period to allow export, then delete it in line with our data retention practice, save where we must keep records for legal or accounting reasons (e.g. CIS, invoicing).
10. Changes and governing law
We may update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be notified by email or in-app. These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales.
